Position Summary

This role requires a unicorn. This is a highly analytical role requiring someone clever with a creative streak, capable of strategizing with our Sales and Marketing teams to turn data into poetry. At Vector we are pioneering new ways of bringing data and analytics to the forefront of everything we do in the out-of-home advertising and experiential marketing space. We’re in search of an integral player in not just our company’s growth, but our industry’s. The Senior Manager of Audience Insights will bring their years of experience crunching ad campaign metrics, analyzing media trends, and executing market research to help us tell better stories to the OOH world through data.

The Senior Manager of Audience Insights will be responsible for owning the day-to-day operations of our audience measurement and analytics tools within the Marketing department. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing on everything data, impressions, metrics, research and analytics, with the potential to take on a direct report within the first year.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Approx. 5 years of experience in a media measurement, audience insights or advertising analytics role, ideally with some familiarity with OOH advertising
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field
  • Experience in advertising campaign measurement/metrics
  • Experience in market research
  • Proven ability to analyze/extract information
  • Proven ability to turn data into digestible, relatable information for clients
  • Excel wizard

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, won’t miss a beat

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead Vector’s Audience Insights, taking what we are currently doing well and building upon that, while also identifying new ways for us to use data to persuasively make the case for the value of transit and outdoor advertising
  • Lead the relationships with measurement partners, including StreetMetrics, Neustar, Bluebite, Geopath and more
  • Think critically about campaign measurement and audience study results and extract valuable takeaways, packaging those findings and attending client meetings as needed
  • Serve as a partner to the National Agency, Local and Client Direct sales team, serving up ideas and information to bolster their proposals through research and data
  • Manage day-to-day functions including monitoring and optimizing live out-of-home measurement and attribution campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and build seamless system for post-campaign reporting and analysis
  • Report on trends - both media industry overall as well as Out of Home
  • Potential to supervise a direct-report in the near term
